How can I learn Spanish fluently quickly?

category: Learn Spanish
by admin,

My friend Jonathan is coming back from Venezuela in February so I have about 3 months to speak Spanish pretty much fluently. How do I learn a lot of Spanish quickly? Thank-you

oh, and I’ve heard that listening to spanish music helps too…does that help?
I forgot to say that he mainly speaks Spanish but he's learning more English. But I just think it would be cool to learn more spanish. Plus we live in such a diverse country that it's good to be bilingual.

There really isn’t a way to learn a language quickly, in fact it takes about a decade for someone to become fluent, unless you are some sort of genius that can remember everything.

Anyways here are some tips listen to music, watch Spanish Television, watch Spanish movies with subtitles in English so you can catch and understand some words. This must be done every single day or you will forget what you learned. You might even hire a Spanish tutor or hey maybe I can help you, let me know if you need any help.

Take a course - depends on your city, but where I live, the main university and the local colleges do decent courses twice per week. Listen to Spanish podcasts or radio, watch half an hour of Spanish TV if you have it (preferably, at first, kids programming).

Why do you need to learn it for your friend? If we knew how you needed to use it, it might help.

Music, not so good, but movies (without english subtitles, maybe spanish subtitles can help) are very good.
