Founder, Jessica C., is a true passionate of all aspects of the Spanish language. She is a native speaker from Lima, Perú. She holds a Bachelor Degree and two Master Degrees, one in Latin American Studies (Stanford University), and a Master in Spanish with emphasis in Latin American Literature (SFSU). While she was completing her first MA program she taught Spanish I, II and Conversational Spanish. This experience was extremely rewarding, it confirmed her love for the language and her true commitment to developing the best teaching methodology for Spanish, which has and continues to be her main focus.Jessica has over fifteen years of experience teaching in public and private schools. She currently works independently with corporations, schools, homeschool families and students of all ages and all background levels of Spanish.
Jessica provides assistance to schools by performing program assessments, developing and implementing successful Spanish Programs with an appropriate curriculum. She also works with students from Beginning to AP levels from different parts of the world. She successfully prepares students for the SAT and AP Spanish Culture and AP Spanish Literature tests.
On a personal level, Jessica is extremely committed to everything she does. At SpanishAid she is committed to developing the best teaching methodology for teaching Spanish and improve the level of confidence in speaking Spanish of all of her students. Jessica focuses on tailoring specific goals based on the student’s needs. Also, she is always innovating fun and interesting ways to engage her younger students while building a strong Spanish foundation of the grammar using thematic units. She also plans meticulously her AP Spanish students mock exams, prepares lessons for the Spanish business clientele, and also, reviews and edits all the translation projects to achieve the highest level of quality.
Jessica founded SpanishAid because of her passion and enthusiasm for the Spanish language and Latin American Literature. She values the knowledge of a second language, she believes it is a gift that can help build self-confidence and can help adults further their professional careers.
SpanishAid serves students in San Jose, Campbell, Los Gatos, Palo Alto, Fremont, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Los Altos and Menlo Park – California. We also offer Skype lessons as needed. All of our instructors are native Spanish Speakers with outstanding knowledge of the Spanish language and culture.
